Cuckoo International (Mal) Sdn. Bhd. (Cuckoo International) and Ogawa Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to co-create innovative massage chairs that prioritize wellness.

The strategic partnership with Ogawa Malaysia also enables Cuckoo International to expand its Healthy Living pillar, which is one of its four Healthy Home pillars. This pillar features a range of home living solutions created through strategic partnerships.

Introduced at the event, the Cuckoo Bespoke massage chair combines industry-leading expertise to promote healthier living by integrating wellness into Malaysian homes.

The Healthy Home Creator’s range of massage chairs, leveraging the strengths of both brands, aims to help Malaysians relax, rejuvenate, and make wellness more accessible.

Cuckoo International founder and CEO Hoe Kian Choon expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it shares the goal of pushing boundaries and creating solutions to help Malaysians live healthier lives.

Ogawa Malaysia executive director and CEO Datuk Lim Mee Ling echoed the sentiment, emphasizing their commitment to introducing advanced health and wellness technologies to more Malaysian households.

The Cuckoo Bespoke massage chair incorporates Ogawa Malaysia’s innovative wellness technologies and Cuckoo International’s Beyond Standards service, offering Malaysians a holistic and exceptional Healthy Home solution.

Key features of the massage chair include a custom-fit SL Track, 30 Airbags, 45 °C Thermotherapy, 2-Level Zero Gravity, and multiple massage programs and techniques for personalized comfort.

In addition to its cutting-edge technologies, users will also receive scheduled services every six months, including a 10-point service checkpoint and a one-time leather change service in the third year.

Available for a monthly rental plan of RM139, the Cuckoo Bespoke massage chair offers Beyond Standards fit, finish, and service at an affordable price, making it accessible to Malaysians seeking to enhance their homes for health and wellness.

The partnership with Ogawa Malaysia is one of three strategic partnerships under Cuckoo International’s Healthy Living pillar, aiming to co-create innovative home living solutions that promote healthier living.

Cuckoo International has previously partnered with LSK Napure, Malaysia’s largest natural latex manufacturer, to launch the Cuckoo A-Series Mattresses in 2021, and with Fujiaire, a local air-conditioning manufacturer, to launch the Cuckoo Vita-S Inverter smart air conditioner in 2022.

With the addition of the partnership with Ogawa Malaysia, Cuckoo International’s Healthy Living pillar is expected to continue its growth, experiencing a significant revenue increase of 199.7% in 2022.

Hoe added, “We believe that our approach in providing holistic Healthy Home solutions will inspire more Malaysians to prioritize their health. Strategic partnerships like this allow us to expand our core and introduce new home living solutions.”
