The “Sincerely Setia Healthcare & Well-Being Assistance Programme” by S P Setia Foundation, the charitable arm of property developer S P Setia, continues to make a meaningful difference in underprivileged communities.
Following its earlier contributions in February, the foundation has provided additional aid to poor patients undergoing medical treatment and veterans in need.
By collaborating with Amari Kuala Lumpur, the foundation distributed 750 sets of food items and hygiene kits to Hospital Sultan Idris Shah Serdang and Hospital Shah Alam.
Also, as part of its National Heroes Assistance initiative, the foundation donated wheelchairs to Persatuan Kebajikan Bekas Anggota Skuad 69 Polis Diraja Malaysia and Persatuan Veteran ATM Negeri Selangor to support police and army veterans.
In February, the foundation had already contributed groceries and hygiene kits worth RM120,000, along with wheelchairs, to three hospitals – Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Mukhriz in Cheras, and Hospital Shah Alam – benefiting 559 vulnerable families.
S P Setia, which was established in 1974, operates in the Klang Valley, Johor, Penang, Sabah, and internationally.
The company is dedicated to creating a positive impact on society and building a brighter future through future charitable initiatives.
