PETALING JAYA: The father of the 13-year-old student who died in a fall recently has denied claims that his daughter was the victim of bullying.

In a Facebook post on Monday (Oct 7), he also urged the public not to spread videos that claim the girl was bullied.

“The girl in the video is not my daughter. Please stop spreading it. Thank you,” he said in his post.

A video circulating online shows a group of unidentified girls hitting a female student in a school toilet.

The father also urged the public to stop circulating his late daughter’s final video message.

“Please delete and stop sharing the video of my daughter’s last message,” he added in his post.

On Oct 2, the Kuen Cheng High School principal’s office confirmed that a female student had fallen to her death in the school on Tuesday (Oct 1).

The principal’s office also said an investigation was in progress.

The police subsequently classified the case as sudden death after ruling out any foul play.

Earlier on Monday, the principal’s office of the Kuen Cheng High School also denied claims that a schoolgirl fell to her death because she was a victim of bullying.

The school said there was no link between the tragic incident and the videos.
