    PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong attended the funeral of Yong Peng Malay grassroots leader Azeman Ariffin.

    “It is with a heavy heart that I am here to visit the late Azeman who is a grassroots leader in Taman JPN.

    “I just visited his stall on June 25 with Yong Peng constituents to savour the various dishes and special satay,” the Ayer Hitam MP said in a Facebook post Saturday (July 22).

    “Azeman has helped the Yong Peng assemblyman and I in carrying out our duties as the people’s representatives,” the MCA president said.

    Dr Wee added that Azeman’s demise was a big loss to the people of Yong Peng.

    “My condolences to the family and hope his soul rests in peace,” added Dr Wee.

    Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, the Ayer Hitam MP and President of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), attended the funeral of Azeman Ariffin, a grassroots leader in Yong Peng. The funeral was held in Taman JPN and Dr Wee expressed his sadness at the loss.

    In a Facebook post on July 22, Dr Wee mentioned that he had recently visited Azeman’s stall with Yong Peng constituents on June 25. They enjoyed various dishes and special satay together. Dr Wee expressed his appreciation for Azeman’s support in carrying out their duties as people’s representatives.

    Dr Wee stated that Azeman’s passing is a significant loss to the people of Yong Peng. He extended his condolences to Azeman’s family and hoped that his soul would rest in peace. The funeral was an opportunity for Dr Wee to pay his respects to the late leader and offer his support to the grieving family.
