MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has praised Datuk Roslee Abd Hamid, the candidate for Selat Klang, describing him as a hardworking individual with great potential.
According to Dr Wee, Roslee is a leader who prioritizes the needs of the people and is dedicated to serving them.
Dr Wee expressed his support for Roslee during the Selangor state election campaign, highlighting their friendship and Roslee’s qualifications as the best candidate for the N44 state seat in the Selangor state assembly.
In a Facebook post, Dr Wee mentioned that he had previously worked with Roslee when he served as Transport Minister and witnessed his diligence and capacity.
Dr Wee also emphasized the unity within the MCA party by mentioning the presence of other MCA leaders, including Kapar MCA chief Datuk Song Kee Chai, Klang MCA chief Datuk Steve Lim, Shah Alam MCA chief Datuk Loo Kooi Thiam, MCA deputy treasurer-general Datuk Lawrence Low, and national MCA Women deputy chief Tee Hooi Ling, who have joined Roslee on the campaign trail.
Roslee will be participating in a three-way contest for the Selat Klang seat against incumbent Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari, Selangor Bersatu chief, and Parti Rakyat Malaysia deputy president Datuk Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor.
