MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong made an appearance at the Hari Raya open house hosted by Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi on Wednesday (April 10).
In a Facebook post, Dr Wee expressed his delight at being part of the morning’s event, where people of various races, government officials, political and community leaders, as well as foreign diplomats, came together to celebrate Syawal.
Also in attendance were Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim at the Aidilfitri 2024 Open House.
Among the Johor MCA leaders present were exco members Ling Tian Soon and Lee Ting Han, Senator Datuk Lim Pay Hen, and state assemblymen Tan Eng Meng (Pekan Nenas) and Tan Chong (Bekok).
Dr Wee, who serves as the Ayer Hitam MP, extended his well wishes with the traditional Hari Raya greetings of “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin.”
