KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa was paid a visit by Swedish Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Joachim Bergström and Emma Broms from Business Sweden on Monday (Aug 14) at her ministry.
In a Facebook post, Dr Zaliha stated that their discussion mainly revolved around health information management and digital health.
“We explored ways to further utilize digital tools to enhance access to health services, strengthen disease surveillance, and improve health education and awareness,” she said.
She also extended an invitation to Swedish companies to conduct clinical trials, research and development in Malaysia, as well as to participate in the healthcare digital reform agenda outlined in the Health White Paper.
“We anticipate further collaborative efforts that will synergistically improve healthcare standards in both Malaysia and Sweden,” she added. – Bernama
