A van driver died on Sunday evening after the vehicle he was driving, transporting nine tourists from Singapore, veered off the road and fell into a ravine at Bukit Getting in Penang. The incident occurred around 8pm.
Despite heavy rain, the state Fire and Rescue Department, along with volunteer firemen and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), continue to work tirelessly to rescue any trapped tourists. As of now, the rescue efforts are still ongoing.
