Eight Ipoh roads to be closed for state-level National Day parade

Several road closures and traffic diversions will be in effect on August 31st for the state-level 66th National Day parade. These closures will start at 6:30 am and continue until the conclusion of the parade at the Perak Stadium.

During the rehearsal sessions on August 27th and 29th, additional road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented as necessary. The affected roads include Jalan Ghazali Jawi, Jalan Kamarudin Isa, Jalan Ahsman Shah, Lebuh Cecil Rae, Jalan Stadium Perak, Jalan Kompleks Sukan, Jalan Dato’ Lau Pak Khuan, and Jalan Canning Estate.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and choose alternative routes to avoid getting stuck in traffic congestion and road diversions. – Bernama
