Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan supports the proposal to enact a law to ensure that a government remains in power for its full five-year term. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had suggested the enactment of a law to ensure that a party or coalition remains in power until the end of its term, if they manage to form a government and receive the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
