    On Friday night, a tragic road crash occurred at Kilometre 425.6 of the North-South Expressway (southbound) near the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. The incident involved seven vehicles, including an express bus, resulting in the death of the four-wheel drive driver and serious injuries to two others.

    The two individuals who were seriously injured in the crash were a passenger in the four-wheel drive and the driver of a car, according to Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Assistant Director (Operations) of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM). Additionally, six others sustained minor injuries and were taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment.

    Ahmad Mukhlis also mentioned that all 24 passengers and the two drivers of the express bus emerged unscathed from the accident. He stated that a team of 11 firefighters from the Rawang Fire and Rescue Station responded to a distress call at 11.37pm and concluded the operation at 1.15am on Saturday.

    According to the statement by Ahmad Mukhlis, the incident resulted in one fatality and two serious injuries, while six others sustained minor injuries and received medical attention at Sungai Buloh Hospital. Fortunately, none of the passengers on the express bus were harmed during the crash.

    The swift response of the firefighters from Rawang Fire and Rescue Station to the distress call enabled them to quickly reach the scene of the accident. Their prompt action and efficiency in handling the situation contributed to the completion of the operation within a relatively short duration.
