KUALA PILAH: A man and his son were killed when their car crashed into a wall near a bridge at KM21 of Jalan Kuala Pilah-Tampin near here.

Kuala Pilah police chief Supt Amran Mohd Ghani said the two are aged 64 and 31 and were killed on the spot in the 3.45pm accident on Sunday (Sept 29).

The man’s 62-year-old wife and 28-year-old daughter escaped with injuries.

“The man was driving the car when he was believed to have lost control and crashed into the wall. His son was seated at the back,” he said.

Supt Amran said preliminary investigation showed that the family was heading to Johol from an institution of higher learning in Lendu, Melaka.

He said the injured duo were sent to the Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital. The case is being investigated under the Road Transport Act 1987.
