BAC Education Group (BAC) and MBSB Bank Bhd (MBSB Bank) have partnered to offer financial assistance to students in support of their educational pursuits. Through this partnership, BAC students will have better access to MBSB Bank’s education financing facility, known as MBSB Bank Education Financing-i (EduFin-i).
EduFin-i provides various benefits including flexible financing tenure, competitive financing rate, and joint applicant financing, which helps alleviate the financial burden on parents while their children pursue tertiary education.
Raja Singham, the co-founder and managing director of BAC Education, emphasized the importance of education as a transformative investment in one’s life. He said, “This collaboration between MBSB Bank and BAC will enable more individuals to pursue higher education, develop their skills, and reap both personal and economic benefits, especially those who would otherwise struggle to afford it.”
Datuk Nor Azam M. Taib, the CEO of MBSB Bank, highlighted the significant role played by higher learning institutions in advancing young individuals. He stated, “These institutions provide specialized skills training, foster critical thinking, and promote innovation. Furthermore, they contribute to the nation’s socio-economic growth by enhancing the pool of skilled professionals.”
He also expressed the potential benefits of the strategic alliance between MBSB Bank and BAC, stating, “This alliance has the potential to develop various programs that will benefit not only the two organizations but also the community.”
