    Fire and Rescue Dept pry open locked door in Kunak to retrieve body

    In Kunak, the Fire and Rescue Department received a request to unlock a locked door in a house on Monday. To their unfortunate discovery, they found a lifeless body inside.

    Tseu Chen Vui, the 69-year-old victim, was pronounced dead by medical officers at the scene shortly after the firefighters gained access to him.

    Around 2:56pm, a call was made for assistance in opening the locked door of a house in Kunak Jaya Lorong 5. Inside, a man was reported to be unconscious. Upon receiving the call, a team was dispatched to the location.

    “Using specialized tools, the team managed to open the door and retrieve the victim, who was subsequently declared deceased at the scene,” stated the Department spokesperson.

    The remains of the deceased have been handed over to the police for further investigation. The operation concluded at 5:46pm.
