A young boy was rescued by firefighters after getting his leg stuck in a drain cover.
According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, the distress call was received at around 3.56pm today, reporting that a boy had his leg stuck in a drain cover in Taman Sri Subang.
A team from the Subang fire station was quickly dispatched to the scene along Jalan PJS 10/11 in response to the call.
“The 11-year-old boy sustained injuries to his left thigh. Firefighters successfully freed his trapped leg, and he was then handed over to medical officers for treatment,” said Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar.
