A fire broke out in Tawau district on Friday, completely destroying nine terrace houses.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
The Fire and Rescue Department was first alerted to the incident at 1.54pm at Taman Victoria, Lorong 4.
A team from Tawau fire station arrived at the location, where they found 10 houses on fire.
While one house’s fire was extinguished, the flames completely destroyed the other nine houses.
The Department spokesman confirmed that the fire was brought under control at 2.56pm, and the operation ended at 5.25pm.
