A group of firefighters came to the aid of a five-year-old girl who got her leg trapped in a chair at a government clinic in Mersing.
The incident occurred at the Jemaluang health clinic and was reported at 10.48am on Wednesday (Jan 31), according to Mohamed Zainuddin Ahmad, the operations commander of the Mersing Fire and Rescue Department.
“The girl was with her pregnant mother who had an appointment at the clinic.
“We used hydraulic equipment to free her left leg from the chairs at the clinic’s waiting area,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 31).
He added that the team of 11 firemen left the scene at 11.17am after ensuring that the girl was safe.
