In Putra Heights, Selangor, five men suspected of armed robbery were killed in a shoot-out with the police on Friday night.
The Selangor police chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, confirmed the incident, which took place around 11.30pm.
He mentioned that a press conference will be held to provide more details regarding the incident.
According to reports, a police team noticed a vehicle driving suspiciously and attempted to inspect it.
However, the suspects in the vehicle chose to ignore the instructions and instead fired shots at the police before colliding with the patrol vehicle and engaging in a gunfight. – Bernama
