Five individuals sustained injuries in a seven vehicle collision near Universiti Sains Malaysia on Jalan Tun Dr Awang in George Town. The accident took place on Monday (Nov 27) at 3pm, when a car lost control and veered into the path of other vehicles at a traffic light junction.
Among the injured were two drivers and three motorcyclists, with one of the motorcyclists suffering a broken leg as a result of the collision.
The George Town district police department has stated that they are conducting investigations under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act for driving without due care and attention.
