KUALA LUMPUR: A former aide to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Muhammed Yusoff Rawther, has been remanded over the alleged possession of weapons and drugs.
His lawyer Rafique Rashid Ali said police remanded Muhammed Yusoff at about 9.30am on Sept 6.
“Two pistols and drugs suspected to be ganja weighing 305gm were allegedly found in the car that my client drove.
“He has been remanded since Sept 6,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (Sept 11).
