In Kuala Lumpur, four company owners have been arrested on suspicion of falsifying documents in their Recalibration Programme 2.0 (RTK 2.0) applications. The Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department director Wan Mohammed Saupee Wan Yusoff announced that the suspects, consisting of one woman and three men, were apprehended on Friday (March 15) after raids were conducted at various locations.

According to Wan Mohammed Saupee, it is believed that the suspects altered the documents to secure quotas for a large number of foreign workers under RTK 2.0. The case is currently under investigation and falls under Section 56(1)(k) of the Immigration Act 1963.

During another operation, the Immigration Department detained 15 undocumented Indonesians at a sports school in Bukit Jalil on March 15. The individuals, aged between 25 and 45, were employed as cleaners at the school without valid documentation.

Additionally, the school representatives were issued two notices to provide statements regarding the matter. Wan Mohammed Saupee emphasized the importance of employers being responsible when submitting applications to the department and ensuring that all documents are authentic.

He warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found to be violating rules and regulations. The department will not tolerate any misconduct in this regard.
