KUALA LUMPUR: Four motorcyclists found themselves in trouble after being caught with illegal modifications by police during a road operation. Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail stated that the incident took place on Sunday morning along the motorcycle lane of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) Expressway. A total of four motorcycles were confiscated for their unauthorized alterations. “The riders and their motorcycles have been taken to the Ampang Jaya police headquarters for further investigation,” said Asst Comm Mohd Azam. As part of the operation, 109 summonses were also issued for various offenses, including driving without a valid license. “We urge all road users, especially motorcyclists, to prioritize safety and refrain from modifying any vehicle structural parts that may pose a risk of accidents,” he added.
