GUA MUSANG: In a significant operation carried out by the police on Tuesday (July 11) at a chicken processing place near Felda Chiku 1, four local men were apprehended and a substantial quantity of Yaba pills and ketum water were seized. The district police chief of Gua Musang, Supt Sik Choon Foo, revealed that during the inspection, authorities uncovered 1,000 Yaba pills weighing 100 grams. Additionally, they discovered eight plastic packets and a plastic bottle containing ketum water. This haul, estimated to be worth RM11,100, was accompanied by the alarming discovery that all suspects tested positive for methamphetamine. Notably, all four individuals have previous records related to drug offences. They have been placed under remand for a duration of seven days starting from July 12, as declared in a statement released by Supt Sik on Friday (July 14). This case is being investigated under Section 39B and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, as well as Section 30(3) of the Poisons Act 1952. – Bernama
