    Four thieves nabbed in Johor for house break-in cases

    ISKANDAR PUTERI: Four individuals, including a woman, have been apprehended by the police for their alleged involvement in a series of house break-ins in the Iskandar Puteri area. The arrests were made at approximately 6.30am on Saturday (July 15) in Johor Baru and Iskandar Puteri, according to Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Rahmat Ariffin.

    Upon further investigation, it was discovered that three of the suspects have a combined total of 90 criminal records, mostly related to crimes and drug offenses. Additionally, they were also individuals on the police’s wanted list. It was revealed that all four suspects tested positive for methamphetamine, indicating their involvement in drug-related activities.

    The case is being probed under Section 457 of the Penal Code, which covers breaking and entering with the intent to commit burglary. OCPD Asst Comm Rahmat Ariffin stated, “We are still in the midst of investigating other potential cases linked to these four individuals. Their remand period will commence from Saturday (July 15).”

    Authorities are determined to uncover the full extent of the suspects’ criminal activities and bring them to justice.
