KUALA SELANGOR: The incident took place in Puncak Alam on Tuesday (Sept 5), where a five-year-old child narrowly escaped with minor injuries after being reversed into by a car. Deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Ambia Nordin, of Kuala Selangor, reported that a driver in his thirties was attempting to park in front of a pet food store when he inadvertently accelerated too forcefully. This caused his vehicle to rapidly move backward and collide with the young girl who was walking near the shop’s entrance and pathway, according to Ambia. The child suffered minor facial injuries and has since been discharged from Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, Universiti Teknologi Mara, as of 8:30 a.m. today (Sept 6). No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, said DSP Mohd Ambia. Footage of the yellow car crashing into the shop and striking the girl has gained widespread attention on social media.
