The first Beyond Contemporary Art Penang (BCAP) 2023 International Art Summit & Expo is scheduled to take place from November 9 to 12.
BCAP will comprise an exhibition, auction, and off-site arts and tourism activities.
Supported by the state government and Penang exco office for tourism and creative economy, the four-day event will occur at The Wembley, a St Giles Hotel, located on Magazine Road in George Town.
Taking up over 25,000 square feet, the event aims to attract art enthusiasts, gallery owners, and collectors.
The exhibition will showcase 400 artworks, and the art summit will feature speakers from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
These speakers will participate in talks, discussions, and panels focused on creativity, business, and sustainability.
BCAP will culminate with a gala dinner that will acknowledge the contributions and achievements of art players.
