KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stated that the unity government remains undivided despite continuous ‘back door’ (tebuk atap) attempts by the Opposition to seize power.

According to the Prime Minister, the current government structure is solid, like concrete, and there is no internal conflict among the political parties. He made these statements during the closing ceremony of the Malaysia Madani government anniversary programme at Bukit Jalil on Dec 10.

Anwar emphasized that despite attempts made in July and August, the government is dedicated to improving Malaysia’s standing and does not face any issues due to the policies of political parties over the past year. He believes any desperate moves by the Opposition to take over power will not succeed.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi supported Anwar’s view, stating that all 18 political parties in the government are able to provide input on implementation and are all in support of Anwar’s leadership. He emphasized that the government remains united and strong.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadilah Yusof reaffirmed that the government’s priorities are the people, the economy, and the administration of the country. He urged the public to continue supporting the government.
