SERDANG: A RM100mil allocation has been given to the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) to help subsidies additional operational costs following the rationalisation of diesel subsidies, says Datuk Seri Anway Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister made the announcement during the Felda Settlers’ Day 2024 celebration, which was held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps), on Sunday (July 14).

“Considering additional financial implications of RM121.mil for Felda due to the rise in diesel prices, the government will provide additional subsidies of around RM100mil to Felda to cover additional operational costs.

“This is to ensure that the income of Felda settlers is not affected,” said Anwar.
