Guests of Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, can now experience the flavors of Turkiye at Mosaic until Sunday. The hotel is hosting guest chefs from Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum who will be serving traditional Turkish dishes. Turkiye cuisine is known for its aromatic spices, succulent meats, and delicious desserts. The guest chefs will showcase their culinary skills through a menu that combines tradition and innovation.
The collaboration aims to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Turkiye, according to Jaime Wolynski, the food and beverage assistant director of Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is excited to welcome the talented guest chefs from Bodrum and their expertise and passion.
The menu features various dishes such as Kuzu Tandir, which is tender, slow-cooked lamb with aromatic spices. Another highlight is Hunkar Begendi, a creamy eggplant puree topped with slow-cooked beef. The assortment of baklava, a golden flaky pastry filled with sweet nuts and drenched in honey syrup, is also available. Additionally, traditional kebabs and a selection of pide, an oval-shaped flatbread, are on offer.
For lunch, the Turkish promotion at Mosaic is priced at RM208, while for dinner, it is priced at RM258. The hotel is also creating a lively atmosphere by incorporating traditional music and decor to transport guests to the vibrant streets of Turkiye.
