    Headmistress and woman injured in knife attack at Kelana Jaya religious school

    PETALING JAYA: Two women, including a headmistress of a religious school, were hurt after being stabbed by a man armed with a Rambo knife.

    The assault occurred at about 1.45pm at Sekolah Agama Insaniah in Kelana Jaya.

    Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Ja’afar said an investigation is ongoing at the scene.

    “We are currently conducting the investigation. I can confirm that the victims are two women.

    “The incident happened in a women’s toilet located between the school and a mosque,” he said when contacted on Friday (Aug 9).

    It was learnt that the victims were a headmistress and a mobile phone shop staff.

    Both women have been taken to the Shah Alam Hospital for treatment.

    The male suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a car.
