PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has initiated a survey to collect feedback and opinions from all Malaysians regarding the Generational End Game (GEG) initiative, as stated by Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

The MySejahtera app will be available for all Malaysians to participate in the survey starting from Wednesday (Oct 11).

The survey encompasses various topics, including the general public’s perspective on the health risks associated with smoking, the regulations proposed in the GEG, and the Control of Tobacco Products for Public Health Bill 2023.

“I urge all Malaysians to take a few minutes to complete the survey. It is essential for everyone to contribute and support the government’s actions by expressing their opinions through this survey as well as other available media channels,” stated Dr Zaliha in her announcement on Wednesday.

The primary objective of the Bill is to establish comprehensive regulations on all forms of smoking products, including electronic cigarettes and vaping, as the current Control of Tobacco Products Regulations (CTPR) 2004 solely govern tobacco-based smoking products. – Bernama
