PETALING JAYA: The recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has prompted the Health Ministry to devise a comprehensive five-point strategy to tackle the situation. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad outlined the strategies, which include early case detection through the Heightened Alert System (HAS), community tracing via the TRIIS (test, report, isolate, inform and seek) system, and others.
Dr Dzulkefly stressed the importance of these strategies to prevent the need for strict measures like those imposed during the movement control order (MCO) in 2020.
More details on the strategy are expected to be revealed soon.
