PETALING JAYA: Sammi Cheng recently experienced another unfortunate incident in 2024, this time involving mistaking her cleanser for makeup remover, as reported by Sin Chew Daily.
The 51-year-old Hong Kong superstar took to social media to post a photo of her bloodshot eye and attributed it to her own carelessness.
Cheng explained that she had accidentally used her cleanser to remove her eye makeup which led to some of it squirting into her left eye.
She acknowledged that the two bottles looked very similar and were placed side by side, contributing to the incident.
“Here’s a public service announcement to everyone to be more careful,” she wrote.
Cheng attempted to flush out the cleanser using tap water and thankfully her eye had recovered the following day. Earlier, the singer-actress had to shorten her trip to Hokkaido and returned home after just one day upon learning that her mother had been hospitalized.
