Home Ministry to use input from stakeholders in drafting Budget initiatives

The Home Ministry plans to incorporate input and suggestions received during its Budget 2024 engagement session with stakeholders, as it drafts budget initiatives for the security sector. According to a statement released on Thursday (Aug 24), the ministry conducted the engagement session with various departments, agencies, organizations, and associations under its supervision. The goal was to gain a better understanding of the public’s expectations from the government, aligning them with the upcoming tabling of Budget 2024 in October. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to the concept of Malaysia Madani, which promotes a willingness to accept change and takes into account suggestions from all segments of society to achieve substantive reforms.
