Human Fetus Discovered in Sewerage: Devastating Find Sparks Investigation

A cleaner in Inanam, near Kota Kinabalu, discovered a human foetus while preparing to clear a trash trap at a sewerage plant. The cleaner was concerned that the foetus would be washed away, so she immediately removed it from the strong-running waste water. After reporting the find to her superior, the police were called in and the Women and Children’s Hospital in Likas confirmed that the foetus was deceased.
