IPOH: Police in Meru Raya are searching for suspects in connection with a car theft that occurred at a residence. The car owner lodged a police report on the same day the vehicle was stolen, according to Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Hassan. He stated that the car was stolen at approximately 2:30 AM on August 2, and the report was filed at 11:46 AM. ACP Yahaya also mentioned that the police have obtained surveillance camera footage related to the incident. The video, which is one minute and thirteen seconds long, was captured by a neighbor’s surveillance camera and contains information about the stolen car, including its license plate number and the time it was stolen. Although two individuals were seen in the video, ACP Yahaya stated that the police are still investigating to determine if there were any other suspects involved. He urged anyone with information about the theft to contact the investigating officer, ASP Fadhli Ahmad, at 019-250 0019.
