PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission (EC) has announced the dates for the upcoming Jepak by-election. Nomination Day is scheduled for October 21, while polling day will be on November 4. For early voters, the date has been fixed for October 31.
The announcement was made by Deputy Chairman Dr Azmi Sharom on September 25. The Jepak seat became vacant after the passing of its assemblyman, Datuk Talib Zulpilip from PBB, who was 72 years old when he died on September 15.
