In KLANG, the postmortem of the victims of the aircraft crash in Kapar yesterday is set to be finished on Wednesday (Feb 14).

Selangor Police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan has stated that the DNA samples of the victims’ next-of-kin have been provided to aid in the postmortem process, which was conducted at the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) in KLANG this morning.

“The postmortem is expected to be concluded today, and the remains of the two victims can then be released to their families for funeral arrangements at a later time,” he informed Bernama when reached for comments.

The two victims have been identified as pilot Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon, aged 30, and co-pilot Roshaan Singh Raina, aged 42.

After the 1.45pm incident yesterday, it is believed that both victims were buried in the aircraft cockpit at a depth of more than two meters in the ground following the plane’s crash in an area of oil palm plantation.

The aircraft, which was operated by Air Adventure Flying Club, had departed from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang at 1.28pm for a recreational flight, as reported by Bernama.
