A witness to the Kapar light aircraft crash described the sound of the incident as “sudden and loud… then silence,” conveying the suddenness and impact of the crash. Jinaidi Nasiran, 55, was at home repairing his car when the crash occurred around 2pm on Tuesday, February 13.

He recounted, “I heard the sound of engines (getting) closer and closer… when I turned around, it (the aircraft) crashed to the ground. Then, silence…” This highlights the shock and aftermath of the incident.

Jinaidi remembered rushing to the crash site, where he found several villagers already present. Upon reaching the plane, he noticed that half of the fuselage was in the ground, indicating the impact of the crash.

Prior to the crash, the aircraft was reported to have been on fire. The authorities subsequently cordoned off the road to the crash site, and police were seen setting up a tent in the compound of a nearby house, underscoring the response efforts.

The light aircraft crash near Kapar in Klang was confirmed to have involved two people on board by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).

Clearly, the incident left a significant impact, both in the immediate aftermath and in the subsequent response and investigation.
