KLANG: Following investigations into the fatal shooting in Kapar, police have apprehended a man suspected to be involved. The arrest was made in the Kapar area at around noon on Thursday (Aug 31). Authorities are currently attempting to locate other individuals connected to the incident. North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao confirmed the arrest in a text message sent on Friday (Sept 1).
A man, aged in his twenties, is the suspect in the case. On Wednesday (Aug 30), a 36-year-old man with a history of drug and criminal-related offenses was discovered dead with gunshot wounds along Jalan Hamzah Alang 22/KU9. According to witnesses, gunshots were heard, and a minor traffic accident took place at the scene. Social media platforms have been circulating videos depicting the victim on the ground and a motorcycle involved in the crash.
