Kelantan nominates Nik Abduh as senator

Former Bachok MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz has been appointed as Senator in the Dewan Negara representing Kelantan.

The nomination of Nik Abduh was proposed by Kelantan’s Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassurudin Daud and seconded by his deputy Datuk Dr Mohamed Fadzli Hassan.

Kelantan assembly Speaker Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah then presented the proposal for a vote. The majority of those present agreed to the nomination.

Nik Abduh will be taking over the position from Mohamad Affandi Mohamad, whose term as senator ended on July 7.
