Three men apprehended after police car pursuit in Sungai Siput
IPOH: In an impressive display of police efficiency, three men were captured following a high-speed chase in Sungai Siput on Sunday (July 9). The Sungai Siput OCPD, Supt Mohd Khaizam Ahmad Shahabudin, reported that these suspects, aged between 20 and 29, are believed to be involved in a recent burglary at a local kindergarten located in Taman Tun Sambanthan.
Receiving prompt information from the public, the police quickly dispatched their mobile patrol vehicles to the kindergarten. As a result, law enforcement officers were able to intercept and pursue the suspects, ultimately apprehending them. Confiscated items include not only the getaway vehicle but also electrical appliances and various tools believed to have been used during the burglary. Supt Mohd Khaizam divulged in a statement made on Wednesday (July 12) that the three men will be held in custody until Friday (July 14), assuring the public that investigations are underway.
