The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has urged people to live harmoniously and stay united. His Majesty conveyed this message before leaving the ‘Pesta Keramaian Bersama Rakyat’ event at Bungai Beach, Bekenu on Sunday (Sept 10), which took place as part of the ongoing Kembara Kenali Borneo tour.
Al-Sultan Abdullah emphasized the importance of harmony and peace in supporting the government’s initiatives, which would facilitate progress and development. He went on to express that discussing politics was not his aim, but rather expressing love and unity. His Majesty stated that he serves as the Agong for the Sabahans, Sarawakians, and all citizens, emphasizing the need for unity among everyone.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, also attended the gathering alongside Al-Sultan Abdullah. The event took place on the eighth day of the Kembara Kenali Borneo tour.
In addition to Their Majesties, their sons, the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah; Tengku Panglima Raja Colonel Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah; and Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu’adzam Shah, were also present at the event.
