KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah personally donated to Adlina Aisyah Ahmad Rusli, the wife of Idris Abdol Talib @ Ramali, who tragically died in a private jet crash on the Guthrie Corridor Expressway near Bandar Elmina, Shah Alam, Selangor, last Thursday.

The donation was presented to Adlina Aisyah at her residence by the Grand Chamberlain of Istana Negara, Datuk Azuan Effendi Zairakithnaini, on behalf of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Prior to his passing, Idris Abdol Talib served as an enforcement officer at the Raub District Islamic Religious Office and recently worked as a special officer to state Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman Datuk Seri Johari Harun, who was also among the victims of the plane crash.

Adlina Aisyah, 41, was an administrative officer at Istana Negara for four years from 2011 to 2015.

During the visit, Datuk Azuan Effendi extended his sincerest condolences to Adlina Aisyah and her family on behalf of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

“Their Majesties expressed their deep sorrow over the incident and hope that Adlina Aisyah and her family find strength and resilience in facing this difficult time,” the Istana Negara’s Facebook post said.

The post also included a prayer for Idris Abdol Talib’s soul to be blessed with mercy from Allah SWT and placed among the righteous.

The tragic incident claimed the lives of 10 individuals, including Idris Abdol Talib’s employer, Datuk Seri Johari Harun. Among the victims were the two flight crew members and six passengers on the plane, as well as a car driver and a motorcyclist on the highway.
