In the wake of another incident where a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a KK Super Mart convenience store in Sungai Isap, Kuantan, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged all parties not to take matters into their own hands. The Prime Minister stressed that individuals who resort to violence will face consequences for their actions, as Malaysia is a peaceful country and any attempts to disrupt order using racial or religious issues will not be tolerated. Early this morning, another branch of KK Super Mart in Sungai Isap, Kuantan, was targeted with a petrol bomb, resulting in a small fire outside the store’s entrance. This marks the second similar attack, with a previous incident at a KK Super Mart branch in Jalan Bruseh, Bidor, Perak.
Responding to concerns over the registration of the Main Database System (Padu) in Sarawak, Anwar noted that discussions on the matter are important for resolving any issues. He assured that all registration matters can be addressed through peaceful dialogue, taking into account the various concerns raised by stakeholders.
