Following the petrol bomb attack on the KK Super Mart outlet in Jalan Bruseh in Bidor last week, police have gathered statements from seven individuals to aid in their investigations.
The statements were obtained from witnesses, including shop workers and members of the public, according to Tapah district police chief Supt Mohd Naim Asnawi.
Supt Mohd Naim Asnawi stated that the purpose of collecting these statements is to facilitate further investigations under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
Efforts are ongoing to identify the suspect involved in the case, with heightened patrols at all KK Super Mart locations to prevent any similar incidents from occurring again.
On March 26, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the Bidor branch of KK Super Mart, but fortunately, it failed to detonate.
The CCTV footage from the shop captured a man disembarking from a vehicle parked alongside the road and throwing the petrol bomb at approximately 5:35 am.
