KL cops launch digital billboards to promote anti-crime messages

KUALA LUMPUR: Police anti-crime messages can now be spread more effectively through digital billboards, says Kuala Lumpur Deputy police chief, DCP Datuk Azry Akmar Ayob.

The billboards are strategically placed to capture the attention of both drivers and pedestrians.

“So far, two digital billboards have been installed at the Sri Hartamas and Kepong police stations,” DCP Azry said during the launch of the billboards at the Sri Hartamas police station on Monday (Sept 30).

“Another one will soon be set up at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters.”

DCP Azry credited the initiative to a collaboration with Wow Media Sdn Bhd, noting that their partnership, which began several years ago, has been mutually beneficial.
