    Landslip occurs on LPT1 near Temerloh

    KUANTAN: A landslip has occurred on the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (LPT1), resulting in road cracks at KM118.2 to KM117.8 westbound in Temerloh near here, on Sunday (Sept 10).

    Concession holder Anih Berhad confirmed the incident and said the emergency and left lanes of the route were closed and a contraflow lane had been activated from KM116.5 to KM119.4.

    “Users are advised to drive carefully and obey the signs and the instructions of the staff at the location,” according to a post on the official Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Facebook account on Sunday.

    It is understood that the landslip was discovered this morning and the cause is still being investigated.
