PKR youth chief Adam Adli stated that the party encourages its leaders to learn from one another and celebrates differences in opinion in order to facilitate personal improvement. Adam emphasized the importance of avoiding arrogance and learning from leaders who have more experience.
During his address at the PKR Youth national congress at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) in Putrajaya on Saturday (Nov 25), Adam emphasized the benefits of differences in opinion and emphasized unity in moving forward together as a party.
Adam also pointed out that PKR leaders were mostly wearing white during the event as a symbol of unity, despite differences and arguments. He also mentioned that the party will focus on improving PKR Youth and all its members, including himself, in the coming year.
In addition, Adam highlighted the importance of the newly launched Akademi Keadilan Rakyat (Akar) as a platform for training party members and nurturing talents. He urged cooperation at the branch and state levels to make Akar a main platform for the development of quality party members.
The PKR Youth and Wanita wings concluded their meeting on Saturday (Nov 25) evening, at which point the central national congress of the party began with speeches from PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who delivered the officiating speech as party president.
The PKR National Congress debates will continue until Sunday (Nov 26) evening.
