Man, 43, drowns at Penang's Miami Beach

A man aged 43 drowned at Miami Beach in Batu Ferringhi, George Town. The Fire and Rescue Department issued a statement, stating that some individuals made attempts to rescue the victim named Haryardi Salleh. The authorities were informed about the incident at 4.28pm on Thursday, August 31. The victim was retrieved from the water but remained unconscious. The statement mentioned that rescue personnel on the scene tried to provide medical assistance, but unfortunately, the victim could not be revived and pronounced dead on-site.
